description: How to upscale packaging, dashboards and printed menus with Topaz Wonder 4, so every line of copy the source shows comes back sharp and spelled the same.

### [Introduction](https://runware.ai/docs/models/topazlabs-wonder-4/guides/text-and-graphics#introduction)

Small print is where upscaling usually breaks. A plain resize turns letters into **soft gray strokes**, and a model that invents detail can redraw a letter it misread as a different one. On a product label or a price list, either result makes the image unusable. Wonder 4 **keeps the text the source shows**: legible copy comes back with clean letter edges and the same spelling, and the lines and boxes around it stay straight.

**Source**:

**Wonder 4**:

The copy block on the box front is where it shows. At 100% the source lines are **readable but smeared**, and the upscale turns them into printed type:

"Daily Barrier Cream" and "Ceramides + Niacinamide" come back **letter for letter**, with the thin serifs of the brand name rebuilt. The compression halo around each stroke is gone.

The request is the same one any upscale uses, a source in `inputs.image` and an `upscaleFactor`, described with the size limits in [upscaling images](https://runware.ai/docs/models/topazlabs-wonder-4/guides/upscaling-images).

### [Dashboards and screenshots](https://runware.ai/docs/models/topazlabs-wonder-4/guides/text-and-graphics#dashboards-and-screenshots)

Product teams reuse screenshots in decks and help centers long after the original capture, and an old capture taken on a standard-density display looks soft on a high-density one. A factor of 3 brings this 920 px dashboard to **the width a full-bleed slot needs**:

**Wonder 4**:

![The same dashboard, sharp, with crisp KPI figures, chart titles, axis labels and thin gridlines](https://runware.ai/docs/assets/output-dashboard.BFA7pYvA_7JInp.jpg)

*A 920 px dashboard screenshot upscaled three times.*

Interface graphics are mostly **straight edges and flat color**, and that is what the upscale keeps. The gridlines stay thin and level, and the axis numbers stay lined up with their ticks.

### [Printed menus and price lists](https://runware.ai/docs/models/topazlabs-wonder-4/guides/text-and-graphics#printed-menus-and-price-lists)

A small restaurant often has only a phone photo of its printed menu, and the delivery listing or the website needs **every dish and price legible**. The source here is 560 px tall, so a factor of 4 does most of the work:

**Source**:

![A cream takeout menu headed BASIL & BRICK with pizza and salad sections and prices, soft and blocky at low resolution](https://runware.ai/docs/assets/source-menu.BSbcVJfc_23UAmX.jpg)

**Wonder 4**:

![The same menu, sharp, with readable dish names, dotted leaders and prices in dark green serif type](https://runware.ai/docs/assets/output-menu.wyQsNzff_Z6FhOi.jpg)

*A 560 px phone photo of a printed menu upscaled four times.*

![A blocky close-up crop of the pizza section with dish names and prices](https://runware.ai/docs/assets/crop-source-menu.CAjfVlHx_24pztY.jpg)

*Source · 100% crop*

![The same crop from the upscaled menu, with sharp dish names, even dotted leaders and clear prices](https://runware.ai/docs/assets/crop-output-menu.bE84b4nE_OTRar.jpg)

*Wonder 4 · 100% crop*

Each dish **stays on the line of its own price**, and the dotted leaders between them come back as even dots rather than a gray smudge. That is the part a customer reads before ordering, so it is the part to check.

### [Tips](https://runware.ai/docs/models/topazlabs-wonder-4/guides/text-and-graphics#tips)

1. **Start from the least compressed copy.** The model rebuilds the letters from what the source shows, so the cleanest export you have gives it the most to work with.

2. **Crop to the graphic first.** If you only need one chart or one label, crop it out before upscaling so the output pixels go to the part you will use.

3. **Read small print at 100%.** A page-width preview makes almost any text look fine. Check the smallest line of copy at native size before shipping.

4. **Fix copy in the source first.** Wonder reproduces the text it is given, so correct a typo or an outdated price before the upscale rather than after.
