# Ideogram Object Remover

Ideogram Object Remover removes selected objects from an image using a supplied mask, then reconstructs the hidden area without requiring any text prompt. It is designed to preserve surrounding composition, lighting, textures, shadows, and reflections while cleaning up unwanted people, products, signage, clutter, or other localized elements. The workflow is straightforward: source image plus mask in, edited image out, making it well suited to production retouching, asset cleanup, catalog preparation, and creative post-processing pipelines.

## Notes

**Mask quality:** The mask must match the dimensions of the input image. Results depend heavily on how tightly the mask follows the object. A segmentation mask that hugs the silhouette gives the cleanest reconstruction. A loose rectangular bounding box still works, but the extra area makes over-removal and artifacts more likely.

**One object per request:** Remove objects one at a time. A mask covering several disjoint objects falls outside what the model was trained on, and quality drops noticeably.

**Input sizing:** The long side is capped at 1024 px. Larger images are downscaled with the aspect ratio preserved, and the result comes back at that reduced size rather than the original dimensions. The model was not trained above 1 MP, so upscaling the result afterwards gives better output than sending a larger image.
